Ceiling heights start at 11 feet and rise to 30 feet in select residences, adding vertical volume and space to every room. Structural columns are typically spaced approximately 30 feet apart, however at The Residences at 1428 Brickell, in some residences they are nearly 40 feet apart, creating very dramatic open layouts. On the upper levels, where the building tapers back, columns are moved outside the glass to maximize the livable interior space.
